Gems and Jewelry Appraisals on this web site are just a part of the Gemological services that we provide. If you have a family heirloom or a piece of jewelry that you wish to have valued for insurance or other purposes, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to help you. Arrangements can be made to have the pieces shipped to us. In order to do a proper valuation we must have the pieces in our possession.

Since many of my original designs are created using Gem Cad, I can generate virtually any cut needed for a stone setting or piece of jewelry.
If I need a stone that is 7 sided and of a particular depth and width, no problem.

All the designing and configuration is done on the computer and a diagram and list of cutting instructions is created at the end.
Please provide a drawing with the symmetry (how many sides), the dimensions of the stone (depth, diameter etc.) and the material. I will than provide an estimate and after it is approved by you, I can go to work.

This service is available to everyone!
If you have one piece of gem rough material or a large quantity that you have always wanted to have cut into a finished stone this service will make it possible.
I offer this service to everyone, be it an individual gem aficionado or jewelry professional.

It may be that you have a piece of jewelry or a loose gemstone that has been chipped and needs to be repaired. Please get in touch with me and we can discuss it. Next, your stone or rough is shipped to me and I can go to work. Pricing will be provided in the process of our discussion and will depend on the amount of time and the extent of the work. No job is too small or too big!
All custom orders will require a 50% deposit before any work will begin.

We can also repair older Russian silver marked – 800. These repairs include re-tipping, prongs, stone setting, chain repair, earring and ring sizing. We can repair your old jewelry and most watches.

In my dealings with customers I often come across used jewelry. Some pieces are antique. I gravitate to pieces that are good examples of a particular period and are unique. These are offered for sale on my web site.
Some of these pieces will have been repaired and returned to their original glory. However, at times I offer jewelry in “as is condition” to keep the price affordable.

If you or your family are in possession of antique pieces of jewelry that you are interested in selling I will be happy to assist you. Please provide as much detail as possible as well as a quality close up photograph of the items. I am interested in purchasing single pieces of jewelry or an entire estate.
If you would prefer have my services as a broker with use of my web site this can also be arranged. A commission will apply in such cases. A formal agreement will be signed outlining obligations and liabilities for both parties prior to any sale.
When purchased outright, the payment will be made in full as soon as I take possession of the items. If I broker the sale for you, the payment will be settled as soon as I have collected the funds from the buyer.

What does the section Tools of the Trade have to do with Artistic Jewelry Design?
Many years ago, when I was starting my business I found it hard to find reasonably priced tools of the trade. I made a promise to myself, that one day, I would try to help new artists in any way that I could. I developed the idea to use my connections in the trade and propensity for finding used tools, to make them available to others. Some new tools will also be offered if they are reasonably priced.
