Artistic Jewelry Design has been offering a variety of workshops for over 30 years. Workshops are held in Toronto at the Artistic Jewelry Design studio. Alternate locations will be considered if requested provided the location can be secured and protected at night so that faceting machines and other equipment can be left unattended.
Most of the workshops can be tailored to an individual or group requirement. Private instruction is also available. Please inquire about your particular needs or interests.
Discounts to students studying Jewelry Arts in an accredited college is available. Please inquire.

Mokume Gane – Presently On Hold!
This is a specialty workshop designed to deal specifically with the making of Mokume Gane.
and inform us about your interest and which days, evenings or weekends you have available.
It is important for us to know what your present level of expertise is and what you would like to accomplish in the workshop. It is best if everyone in a workshop is at a similar level of competence so that everyone will be able to progress together.
We provide the machines, all the materials, as well as the tools for the workshops. If you prefer to use your own equipment, let us know so we can make any arrangements as necessary.
Pricing:
Individual instruction is priced according to level of difficulty.
Prices range from $30.00 - $50.00 per hour.
Workshops generally take place on weekends and will be 5 hours each day. There will be a minimum of 5 and no more than 7 students.
For Faceting Workshops of 5-7 people the cost is: $200.00 per person.
Individual workshops: $300.00 per person.
At the end of the Faceting workshop, students will have finished cutting a modified round brilliant stone in Quartz and will be able to take it home so that they can brag about it to friends and family.
If you have a preference as to the material you want to cut, please let us know in advance of the course. If you are interested in working on a particular design that you may be having problems with or just want to concentrate on polishing all this can be arranged.
